what’s new?

I’ve been working with some hand painted fiber from cabin cove … wait … what’s that lurking in the background?

It’s my new spindle! Isn’t it loverly? I love kokopelli and have been drooling over wanting to buy it since the summer, but it wasn’t available until the fall. It’s hand made by Tracy from Woolly Designs. It’s a half-overlay – weight – 0.9 ounces and it has a notch unlike my other spindle.

Ain’t it purty? :D

  1. Purty doesn’t even begin to describe it. I’m drooling all over my keyboard here. :-)

Congrats on that beautiful spindle and I hope it makes spinning an even more amazing experience for you.

And your new blog them looks wonderful. It makes me think of wonderful winter days. Thanks for sharing your new spindle!

  2. I LOVE the new spindle! Does this mean that it will be fertile? Well I for one can’t wait to see what you make with that gorgeous blue yarn!

  3. That IS a gorgeous spindle. I’ve actually seen the designs before, but they’re always out of stock. It’s beautiful. And I like the dark wood accent on the bottom. The other spindle, I think I have the same one as a beginner spindle. Can’t believe all the clouds you have spun up on that already! It’s looking great. (I knew I should have made some for myself…)
    Happy Christmas!
