I started the Lady Eleanor stole from Scarf Style. I used a crochet cast-on and it worked perfectly and the cast on edge is not too tight like when I used the long-tail cast on.

What fun!!

I haven’t had time to show off the goodies I got from my HHHH swap pal… until now. She spoiled me very well and I love everything and can’t way to play… er… try everything.
First things first … there was chocolate (Ghirardelli Milk Chocolate & Lindt Truffles) … which disappeared very quickly for some reason … so there are no photos of that.
4 ounces of light brown alpaca

5.5 ounces of lovely punta/corridale handspun yarn.

an awesome drop spindle (i love it!!)

about an ounce of silk to use with the lovely spindle she sent

Thank you very much, grandmotherswheel!!!!! [ravelry link]
Five skeins of Dream in Color ‘Nightwatch’. I’ve already started Lady Eleanor with it. I have no goal for completion because I want to enjoy the process of knitting this stole. Such lovely yarn to knit with.
Here’s some lovely photos for you to enjoy.

Happy knitting!
