The urge to spin has been strong with me lately. VERY strong … and Dave and his beautiful handspun hasn’t helped. ( If you haven’t seen his work, go. Now. … just don’t forget to come back. )

I had to lay off spinning for 2 months due to hayfever which increases my sensitivity to wool (which gave new meaning to the term ‘itchy fingers’. ugh!) Anyway, as I was saying … Sure I could spin another fiber, but being the stubborn person that I am, I wanted to spin something that I already had.

Well, look for me to spin this soon… after Sockapalooza when I can take the time to pre draft it and then maybe, finally, my spindle will stop staring at me. (Yes, I know it’s an inanimate object. What’s your point? )

Oh well … back to sock knitting…
