Why does it take at least 3-4 times the amount of time to tink back on a row than it does to actually knit it? (this is a rhetorical question – I just needed to express the question that’s been screaming in my head for the last fifteen minutes!)

It’s just one of life’s little ironies. Meh.
That is why tinking’s no fun!
I’m working on a lace pattern capelet, and I’m sure I’ve done more tinking (time wise) than actual knitting. Every time I spend that extra hour correcting an error, I ask myself WHY???
By the way, the socks look great!
