Before I show you my new spindle, I have to share this with you – Presenting my first skein of 3-ply (chain plied) handspun and I love it! This is the first completed skein that I am truly pleased with.
4 oz, 106 yards. Blended Roving of 80% merino/20% colonial from CJ Kopec Creations.

Ok, that is beautiful! Really, the chaining makes all the difference in preserving the colors. (In this case a good thing. On some of mine, NOT such a good thing.) And that’s a good amount of yardage from a spindled 3-ply.
Now, about the missing photos of the new spindle…or is this the intended suspense???
