creative paralysis

I’m currently at a loss. I have several creative endeavors that I enjoy. And somehow over the last couple of weeks I’ve been unindated with ideas, inspiration and a multitude of possibilities for all of them and I am overwhelmed and can’t seem to choose what to do first so I end up not doing any of it. (and on the knitting front, it doesn’t help that my Knit Picks order is taking forever and I don’t have the needles to do the projects I have planned!)

So this is one of the reasons why I’m so quiet.

But I am knitting… with this yarn…

Take care and enjoy your week!

  1. Mmmmm, pretty colors. What might that pretty little thing be?
When I get creative constipation, I find that it helps to get organized. Or just reacquaint myself with my materials and tools. Maybe start by cleaning out your knitting tote or what ever you use to hold most of your stuff. Or take out a box of yarn and organize it, or just look at it. Hmmm….I think I should go and tidy up a pile of fiber I’ve got in the other room…

  2. Don’t feel too bad about it, ok? We all have times like that. Sometimes you just have to sit it out. Furthermore you ARE knitting with this lovely yarn of yours, aren’t you? And as you only have one pair of hands, one project should be more than enough, shouldn’t it? ;-)

    :-)

  3. Colors like that would definitely get ones creative juices flowing! It’s great that you have so many options, and I know that the result will just be more beautiful objects (that you’ll hopefully share! :) )
Congrats on the lovely sockapalooza socks too – very cool!
